Cerastium tomentosum 'Yoyo'

We first discovered snow-in-summer at a garden in England and just had to grow it back at home. Its silvery foliage and bounty of white flowers truly looks like a carpet of snow in the garden. It is a low growing groundcover for full sun and can handle dry soil. It is perfect for the edge of a gravel path. It also looks spectacular spilling over and through a rock wall. It can lean into a cottage vibe or a Mediterranean one.

The cultivar 'Yoyo' is less aggressive than the straight species.
