In floral arrangements, sea hollies look very exotic. But they have been very easy to grow in our experience. All they need to thrive are lots of sunlight and well-drained garden soil. The icy blue coloration runs not only through the flowers but also through the bracts and down the stems. They stand out against warm-toned perennials; our favorite pairing is 'Blue Cap' sea holly and 'Summer Pastels' yarrow.
