Mentha requienii

Corsican mint is a gorgeous, dainty ground cover. It is a true mint and can be eaten as such. The aroma/taste is a bit medicinal in our opinion, but we like it for it's ability to grow as a living carpet. Imagine a seaside cottage with Corsican mint growing between flagstone steps, and when you walk on it the menthol aroma wafts into the salty air. How divine!

If you don't live in such a Mediterranean heaven (we don't either!), grow it in containers and bottom water. Consistent moisture is key!
