Hailing from a mulberry specimen in North Dakota, 'Trader' was recently brought to market for its remarkable cold tolerance and tasty fruit.

We'd love to see a wave of mulberry appreciation! They produce such decadent fruit and make for lovely shade trees. In fact, many of the best tree specimens we've seen in our travels were mulberries - architectural, kinetic, and gargantuan. Living for centuries, mulberries can transport us through time and history with their ancient beauty.
