Description
White baneberry is a perennial plant native to Eastern North America and likes moist, rich woodlands. If conditions are right, it will freely seed and naturalize. It has striking white berries each with a dark purple spot that makes them look like eyeballs. This is why this plant is also called "doll's eyes."
Even though the berries are very attractive, do not consume them. They are highly poisonous.
