Description

Threadleaf bluestar is an herbaceous perennial native to the Ouachita Mountains. Even if you don't live in these mountains, this bluestar is a great choice for a native garden, as it supports numerous early-season pollinators. This includes native bees, hummingbirds, butterflies, and moths.

We love this plant for its feathery habit, soft blue flowers, and a fall color that glows like candlelight. It makes for a good mid-height plant in a mixed border and is equally stunning planted en masse.
