Armeria maritima 'Splendens'

Sea thrift is an herbaceous perennial native to temperate coastal areas of the northern hemisphere. That does not mean, however, that you must live by the ocean to grow it. Sited in full sun and very well-drained soil, it can make a wonderful addition to the garden, especially a rock garden.
