Camellia sinensis 'Super Sochi'

'Super Sochi' is a tea plant variety with large leaves and excellent cold hardiness. Many varieties struggle below Zone 7, but 'Super Sochi' pushes the range. Zone 6b growers should consider this one. Sochi tea plants were actually bred in the Southern Caucasus of Russia to better handle the cold. 'Super Sochi' is a selection from Camellia Forest Nursery (NC).
