Description
Wire netting bush is a zany specimen to add to your unconventional collection. It's a zig-zagging shrub that naturally grows in the rocky scrubby regions of New Zealand. Those dry, gritty conditions are ideal, but we've seen a nice specimen doing just fine at the Oxford Botanic Garden in the UK. More than anything this plant needs winter protection. If your climate is frigid (below 20 degrees), wire netting bush makes a great container plant or bonsai!
"Korokio" is the indigenous Māori name.
