Cyperus papyrus 'Dwarf Form'

Papyrus is a sedge native to the wetter parts of Africa - best known as being the source for making ancient paper called papyrus. This dwarf form is shorter than the species but is more shade tolerant.

It can grow in and out of water. Container growing is a great option if shallow water is not available. It thrives in hot climates, so either grow it as an annual or overwinter indoors if you live in a zone cooler than zone 8.
