Echinacea tennesseensis 'Rocky Top'

The species tennesseensis is endemic to cedar glades near Nashville, TN, and a couple of surrounding counties. It was once listed as federally endangered but has since been delisted due to successful conservation efforts.

'Rocky Top' is technically a hybrid between E. tennesseensis and E. purpurea. It is a much more reliable version compared to the straight species which can be difficult to grow outside its native habitat.
