Euphorbia polychroma

Euphorbias often have a bright chartreuse quality that electrifies a garden bed. That is certainly true of Euphorbia polychroma. This perennial euphorbia (cushion spurge) has a lovely mounding habit and a yellow-green ombre of leaves and flower bracts.

Euphorbia polychroma is generally very easy to grow and will self-seed. It can tolerate drought and a variety of soil types. It performs best in full sun, except in very hot summer climates where it might appreciate some gentle shade.
