Farfugium japonicum var. giganteum

Giant farfugium is a bold character in the garden. Its oversized dark glossy leaves make one feel as though they've stepped into a giant's garden or perhaps a lush rainforest. The scale of magnitude is marvelous.

The leaves also resemble lily pads, which is a great reminder to keep is well watered for it needs consistent moisture, especially in the heat of summer. Shade is a must.

Can be grown in containers outside of its hardiness zone.
