Ficus carica 'Marseilles'

'Marseilles' was Thomas Jefferson's favorite fig variety. He brought it over from France to the U.S. and grew it in his Monticello kitchen garden. It is considered a honey fig - sticky sweet with notes of melon. These figs have yellow to green skin and white flesh.
