Geum chiloense 'Feuerball'

If you like a hot pop of color in your garden, then try out the perennial Feuerball avens. Stems of flouncy orangey red flowers sway above a mound of lobed foliage. The flowers are semi-double and can be used in cut flower arrangements.

In mild climates, the plant may not die back. You can divide scarlet avens in the spring to create masses and encourage vitality.
