Hebe buxifolia

Hebes are a genus of plants that we have not come across often - save for a garden or two in the UK. But any plant that is evergreen, flowers, and can be used for hedging is worth trying in the landscape. The boxwood hebe certainly checks all those boxes. This 3' shrub has glossy green leaves and branches that are capped in white flowers (late spring).

Please note that hebes are sensitive to cold temps and water-logged soils. Provide decent watering but in well-drained soils.
