Mazus reptans

Mazus reptans (syn. miquelii) is a semi-evergreen perennial ground cover with dainty purple flowers. It has been lauded as a choice ground cover for many years. It is fairly easy to grow and spreads quickly when happy. With lawn replacement on the rise, we don't foresee this diminutive creeper dropping in popularity any time soon! From stone cracks to living carpets, mazus fits the bill.

Provide consistent water and afternoon shade in places with hot and/or dry summers.
