Description
Tweedia is an evergreen vine/subshrub in the milkweed family. It has milky sap and pods of fluffy seed. While tweedia is native to the warm grasslands of South America, it is grown in many places for its captivating true blue flowers. Florists love tweedia and we do too! It was even featured in our wedding arrangements. A dash of "something blue"!
It needs to be overwintered or treated as an annual in colder climates. Fortunately, it's a good seeder - just catch them before they fly away!
