Description
Penstemon digitalis is one of the more common species of penstemon native to the Eastern U.S. The basal green foliage is evergreen in much of its range. Tall stems of white tubular flowers shoot up in late spring/early summer. It isn't as showy as some of its cultivars but would fit well in a naturalized area like a meadow or pollinator garden.
