Phlox paniculata 'Jeana'

Jeana phlox has quickly become one of our favorite perennials in the trial garden. It puts on a display of flowers for many weeks and is a bee and butterfly magnet.

What makes Jeana extra special is that it was discovered in our home state of TN! It's a "wild form" of Phlox paniculata discovered in the Nashville area. It has been trialed at Mt. Cuba Center and found to be very mildew-resistant and highly attractive to pollinators. The PPA selected it as the 2024 Perennial Plant of the Year.
