Polemonium reptans

Jacob's ladder is native to rich, moist woodlands in Eastern North America. It is an herbaceous perennial with sweet little bell shaped flowers.

If it finds a happy spot, it will spread to form a groundcover. This native is pollinator-friendly and has a history of use in traditional medicine. Another common name is abscess root.
