Jahn's Prairie is a selection from a native gooseberry species found in Canada. While very similar to European cultivars, Jahn's Prairie has superb resistance to mildew, white pine blister rust, and leaf spot.
The fruits, which turn from green to red, are excellent eaten raw or cooked.
