Sauromatum venosum

This voodoo lily is another easy plant for the shade garden if you're looking for something unique. The flower emerges first in spring followed by the foliage that resembles our U.S. native Arisaema dracontium, which is no surprise since they are closely related. The corms will produce offsets and form a nice clump over time. And of course, like many "voodoo lilies," the flowers stink.
