Saururus cernuus

Lizard's tail, or water-dragon, is native to Eastern North America and can be found in wet areas or shallow water. It can tolerate up to 4 inches of water, making it a great choice for water gardens, bogs, or pond edges. Please note that it can spread aggressively. Grow in containers if that is a concern.

As the common names suggest, this plant is quite fantastical with its long wands of nodding white flowers. All parts of the plant have a citrusy sassafras fragrance.
