Silene caroliniana

Wild pink (sticky catchfly) is a low, mounding perennial wildflower native to the Eastern U.S. It can be found growing in dry open woodlands and rock outcroppings that receive part to full sun. It also seems to do fine with an average amount of moisture.

The pink flowers (up to 100 per plant!) are frequented by pollinators.
