Description
Coralberry is a deciduous shrub native to bottomland woods of the eastern and central U.S. It reminds us a lot of beautyberries (Callicarpa) in that brightly colored clusters of berries cling to arching branches. The berries remain into autumn even after the leaves have fallen, which creates an eye-catching splotch of color in the landscape.
It is easy to grow and tolerates a range of conditions. It looks great as a single specimen in a curated garden or planted en masse in a natural setting.
