Tricyrtis 'Tojen'

'Tojen' is yet another great toad lily hybrid coming from Japan. It has the same growth requirements as other toad lilies: shade to part shade and damp but well drained soil.

'Tojen' has larger leaves than other varieties, and its flowers bloom along the stems (similar to 'Miyazaki'). The orchid-like flowers are white with a dipping of pale purple - and without freckles unlike other varieties. This one is definitely a great addition to any shade garden.
